Weekend Recap 9/27 - 9/30

Almost all Varsity sports faced tough tests this weekend and many of them came out on top. Valley football defeated a Depaul team that had not lost to a public school in three years. Volleyball improved to 7-1 in league play with a big win against Paramus Catholic. Finally, Girls Soccer won a thriller against Paramus Catholic 3-2 in overtime. The season is in full gear and the Indians are ready to make a charge to the finish line.

Girls Volleyball:

Pascack Valley defeats Paramus Catholic 25-20, 25-22 (Thursday)

Although a straight set win for the Indians, this game was never easy. The Indians had to earn this win and their 7th win in league play.

The first set went back and forth with both teams having opportunities to take control. In the end, Pascack Valley came together, won the crucial points, and took the first set 25-20.

It was more of the same for the Indians in the second set. Instead of giving Paramus Catholic a chance at a third set, the Indians closed the door, winning the second set and therefore, taking the match.

With Old Tappan as their only league loss of the season, this team needs to be looked at as one of the best Volleyball teams in North Jersey.

***Note: Old Tappan Volleyball is currently 8-0 on the season, winning all 16 sets they have played.***

Record: 7-1

Next Game: Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:15 PM against Hackensack (Away)

Girls Tennis:

Girls Tennis had a successful match against Paramus Catholic on Thursday afternoon.

Of the five varsity matches, the Indians won three and only lost two.

Next Match: Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:15 PM against Hackensack (Away)

Football:

Pascack Valley 33, DePaul 28 (Friday)

During the first three games of the Indians season, they had outscored their opponents 123-20 and had yet to be tested. That all changed Friday night when DePaul, a Catholic School, came to the valley.

Despite their record of 1-2, DePaul was a solid, physical team. They are forced to play Don Bosco and Paramus Catholic early in the season, causing their record to suffer because of it.

Either way, the game was supposed to be a dog fight and that's exactly what it was.

The game started out perfectly for the Indians. On the first play from scrimmage, Junior Jaleel Felton made an interception deep down the sideline. Just a couple of plays after that, Valley scored on a short touchdown run from Senior Chris Garcia.

DePaul responded by pounding their way down the field, scoring easily to make the score 7-6.

Both teams continued to go back and fourth until the score was 14-12 with a couple minutes left in the first half. With DePaul threatening to take a two score lead, Senior Billy Beattie made a huge interception, ending the threat. The Indians would go on to score before the half, making it 20-14.

After holding Pascack Valley to open the second half, DePaul again retook the lead 21-20. By the time the fourth quarter came around, the Indians trailed by one and their undefeated season was in jeopardy.

With two minutes gone in the fourth quarter, Valley took the lead back 27-21 on a touchdown pass from Kyle Schneider to Billy Beattie.

On DePaul's next offensive play, running back Joe Moreno fumbled, giving the ball back to the Indians. Quarterback Kyle Schneider took advantage of the oppurtunity, throwing another touchdown pass, this time to Nick Soravilla, to give Valley the 33-21 lead with 3 minutes to play.

However, the game wasn't over yet. In just two minutes, DePaul roared down the field and scored again, making it 33-28. The game then came down to the onside kick. Soravilla came up big in the clutch again, fielding the onside kick and securing the win for the Indians.

Pascack Valley knew they could be successful, but this win proved that they could beat anyone at anytime.

Record: 4-0

Next Game: Saturday, October 6th at 2 PM against Passaic Valley (Away)

Next Meet: Monday, October 1st at 5 PM against Wayne Hills (Away)

Boys Soccer:

Pascack Valley 2, Paramus Catholic 2 (Thursday)

Pascack Valley tied Paramus 2-2 on Thursday night under the lights at Pascack Valley.

Pascack Valley 0, Ramapo 2

Pascack Valley fell to a tremendous Ramapo team 2-0 on Saturday Night.

The Indians played well, but were unable to supply the offense needed to defeat a team of the caliber of Ramapo.

Record: 4-2-1

Next Game: Monday, October 1st at 7 PM against Hackensack (Home)

Girls Soccer:

Pascack Valley 3, Paramus Catholic 2 (Thursday)

When it comes to the Indian offense, most people look to Senior Dara Liebeskind to get the job done.

She did exactly that on Tuesday night, scoring two goals, including the game winner, to defeat Paramus Catholic 3-2 in overtime.

The first goal from Liebeskind came on a penalty and the next goal came from fellow Senior Cassie Gehan.

The game would then go into overtime with the score tied 2-2. During the OT, the Indians received a corner kick and Junior Rachel Kearney decided to take it. As she kicked it, Liebeskind sprinted in, headed the ball past the goalie, and won the game for the Indians.

A pile up ensued and Pascack Valley Girls Soccer had their third straight win.

Pascack Valley 1, Dumont 0 (Sunday)

Sunday marked the first step to a County Crown for the Pascack Valley Girls Soccer Team.

They came into this game a confident bunch, being winners of three in a row. With that being said, the Indians could not overlook Dumont, a decent team with a fantastic goalie.

Anyway, the Indians dominated the first half, having countless opportunities to take the lead. No matter how hard they tried, they just couldn't seem to get the ball past the Dumont keeper. At the half, the game was scoreless and the Indians were shaking their heads.

It wasn't until the second half where the Indians caught a break. With 32 minutes left in the game, Junior Amelia Della Pesca had a breakaway. The goalie decided to come out, but it didn't matter. Della Pesca put it into the back of the net and gave the Indians a lead they would not relinquish.

In the end, the game ended 1-0 and Pascack Valley would move on to the second round of the County Tournament. This is now their fourth win in a row, giving them the confidence they need to go far into this tournament.

Daily Recap: Monday, September 24th

After a weekend of success by all varsity sports, Monday brought more of the same. The birthday boy pitched a shutout for Boys Soccer, a freshman scored for girls soccer, and Girls Volleyball moved to 6-1 in league play.

Girls Volleyball:

Pascack Valley defeats Indian Hills 25-21, 25-19.

Girls Volleyball rolled to their 6th win in league play after defeating Indian Hills in straight sets.

The game never seemed to be in doubt, as Pascack Valley dominated from the beginning.

Although the win was a team effort, one player stood out among the rest. Jessi Levine had a great overall game, blocking number shots and showing great defensive passing skills.

With Levine playing at a high level and the underclassmen continuing to improve, this is going to be a tough team to beat.

Record: 6-1

Next Game: Thursday, September 27th at 4:15 PM against Paramus Catholic (Home)

Girls Tennis:

The Indians had a rough day on the tennis courts, losing four out of their five varsity matches.

Luckily for the girls, there are plenty or more opportunities to come.

Next Match: Thursday, September 27th at 4:15 PM against Paramus Catholic (Home)

Boys Soccer:

Pascack Valley 2, Indian Hills 0

The boys were under the lights once again, this time against Indian Hills.

The night belonged to Senior Goalie Blake Ruzich, who celebrated his 17th birthday Monday. After receiving his licence in the morning, Ruzich capped off an amazing birthday with a 2-0 shut out against Indian Hills.

Senior Kieran Walsh and Sophomore Dante Cassano scored for the Indians and the defense was solid once again in the win.

Record: 4-1

Next Game: Thursday, September 27th at 4:15 PM against Paramus Catholic (Away)

Girls Soccer:

Pascack Valley 5, Indian Hills 0

The Indian offense came alive Monday afternoon, scoring 5 goals in a 5-0 rout of Indians Hills.

Amelia Della Pesca led Pascack Valley by scoring two goals. Dara Liebeskind and Michelle Orden each added a goal as well.

The last goal came from a surprising source, a freshman named Maya Stanislawski. After being one of only a handful of freshman to make varsity, Stanislawski is starting to make an impact for Pascack Valley.

This is the second straight win for the Indians and there is no reason why the streak will not continue.

Record: 3-2-1

Next Game: Thursday, September 27th at 7 PM against Paramus Catholic (Home)

Weekend Recap 9/21 - 9/23

It was a fantastic weekend for the Valley. It included a win by Girls Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Tennis, and Football. Not one varsity sport lost their match-up this weekend, something that will hopefully continue in the future.

Girls Volleyball:

Girls Volleyball continued to roll in league play by defeating Demarest 15-25, 25-13, 25-10.

The first set was a struggle for the Indians as Demarest was determined to avenge their loss to Pascack Valley earlier in the season.

After being outplayed in the opening set, Pascack Valley picked up the tempo and dominated the second set, winning it 25-13.

They continued this domination into the third, winning the set 25-10 and the match two games to one.

In a single season, it is hard enough to beat a team once. For Pascack Valley to beat a team like Demarest twice in one season, it says a lot about the skill level and focus to win every game, regardless of opponent.

Record: 5-1

Next Match: Monday, September 24th at 4:15 PM against Indian Hills (Away)

Football:

Pascack Valley 35, Bergenfield 7

Will Rodriguez may be the best running back in Bergen County and Pascack Valley had the challenge of stopping him on Saturday afternoon. After gaining 52 yards and a touchdown on Bergenfield's opening drive, the Indians were able to shut him down.

It didn't look good for Pascack Valley after Bergenfield scored on its first possession, making the score 7-0. Instead of backing down, the Indian offense marched right down the field, tying the game at 7 on a rushing touchdown by Senior Chris Garcia.

Although the next two offensive possessions for the Indians resulted in turnovers, the defense stepped up and allowed no points. Early in the second quarter, Valley took a 14-7 lead on a touchdown pass from Kyle Schneider to Nick Soravilla.

The turning point in the game came late in the first half. Bergenfield was set to punt and Pascack Valley was planning on a safe return, which meant only one person would try to block the punt. That person was Senior Mike Manente, and he was all Pascack Valley needed. He was able to come off the corner, block the punt, and return it for a touchdown, extending the Indians lead to 21-7.

The game became out of reach during the opening possession of the second half. Valley took time off the clock, drove down the field, and punched in another touchdown, giving them the 28-7 advantage.

Junior Jaleel Felton had a 90 yard touchdown run in the fourth, capping off what was a great win for the Indians.

Next week will be the toughest test yet as Depaul Catholic comes into the Valley. Knowing this team, Pascack Valley will be ready to play.

Record: 3-0

Next Game: Friday, September 28th against Depaul at 6 PM (Home)

Girls Soccer:

Girls soccer got a big win Saturday afternoon against a solid Holy Angels team. Solid defense and timely scoring gave the Indians a 2-0 win.

Goals were scored by Junior Shannon Evans and Senior Dara Liebeskind.

After a slow start to the season, this could be win that sets Pascack Valley Girls Soccer back on track.

Record: 2-2-1

Next Game: Monday, September 24th at 7 PM against Indian Hills (Away)

Girls Tennis:

Girls Tennis had a tough go against Holy Angels, losing all of their varsity matches

Next Match: Monday, September 24th against Indian Hills at 4:15 PM (Away)

Daily Recap: Thursday, September 20th

Thursday brought plenty of question marks for Pascack Valley sports. Would Girls Soccer be able to respond after two straight losses? Would Ben Malone come in first once again? Lets dive in to how it all went down.

Girls Soccer:

Pascack Valley 1, Bergenfield 1

Though not the result they were hoping for, the Indians have to be content in tying Bergenfield 1-1 on Thursday afternoon.

Pascack Valley had lost two straight coming into this game so a result like this should be able to revive their confidence.

Pascack Valley took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Junior Rachel Kearney. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough for the Indians.

Bergenfield ended up tying the game in the second, forcing the game into overtime. The girls had many chances to put the game away, but were unable to do so.

It wasn't the best case scenario for Pascack Valley, but hopefully this result will start this team on the right track.

Record: 1-2-1

Next Game: Saturday, September 22nd at 2 PM against Holy Angles (Away)

Boys Cross Country:

Boss Cross Country was unable to defeat Demarest on Thursday afternoon. Although somewhat of a disappointment, Ben Malone placed first for the Indians with a time of 17:19.

Next Match: Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:30 PM against Old Tappan (Garrett Mountain Reservation)

Girls Cross Country:

Girls Cross Country came close but could not defeat Demarest, losing 23-34 (lower score wins).

Bessie Zavidow put in a solid effort for the Indians, placing second. The problem for the Indians was that their 3rd runner placed 7th and their 4th runner placed 10th.

In the end, Demarest took 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th and Pascack Valley took 2nd, 4th, 7th, 10th and 11th.

Next Match: Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:30 PM against Old Tappan (Garrett Mountain Reservation)

Gymnastics (Wednesday):

Pascack Valley Regional was defeated by Ramapo, but finished with a team score of 101.2
Courtney Welyczko finished third on vault with a 9.0. Olivia Novak placed fourth on bars with an 8.0 and fourth on beam with an 8.3. Geena Gurman earned first on floor with a 9.3 and Olivia Novak placed first in the All Around with a 33.7.
Record: 1-1

Daily Recap: Wednesday, September 19th

Wednesday marked a successful day in the Valley. Boys Soccer, Volleyball, and Girls Tennis all picked up wins against Bergenfield. After the long holiday weekend, all sports teams came out focused and ready to play.

Boys Soccer:

Pascack Valley 3, Bergenfield 2

After a 1-0 loss to Old Tappan on Saturday, Pascack Valley looked to get back on track against a solid Bergenfield team.

However, the game didn't start out the way the Indians wanted. Bergenfield took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half and carried the lead into halftime.

Something must have clicked for the Indians at the break because they came out ready to play. Eight minutes into the second half, Matt Giovatto tied the game on a pass from Senior Kieran Walsh.

Three minutes later, it was Walsh's turn to do the scoring, putting one into the back of the net and giving the Indians a 2-1 lead.

The game seemed in control for the Indians until Bergenfield's Walter Nolasco tied the game at 2 with only 8 minutes to play. Less than 30 seconds later, Pascack Valley retook the lead 3-2 on a beautiful goal from Junior Chris Jackson.

In the end, Pascack Valley was able to hold on 3-2, gaining a much needed win after a tough loss only a couple days earlier. With a loss now behind them, the Indians look primed to continue their winning ways and contend for a league title.

Record: 3-1

Next Game: Monday, September 24th at 7 PM against Indian Hills (Home)

Girls Volleyball:

Pascack Valley defeats Bergenfield 25-17, 23-25, 25-16

This was a good bounce back win for the Indians after losing to Old Tappan in straight sets on Friday afternoon.

Pascack Valley dominated the first set, winning easily 25-17. Although it seemed as though they would cruise in straight sets, some questionable officiating left the second set wide open for both teams.

Bergenfield took advantage of the opportunity, taking the second set 25-23 and making the third set a must win for the Indians.

The girls could have just given up after a tough second set, but came together to take the game 25-16 and the match two games to one.

Now 4-1 in league play, Pascack Valley needs to be recognized a team to beat for the rest of the season.

Record: 4-1

Next Game: Friday, September 21st at 5:30 PM against Holy Angels (Away)

Girls Tennis:

Girls Tennis dominated Bergenfield by winning all 5 matches on the varsity level. This seems like a team ready to make the next step and string a couple of wins together.

Next Match: Saturday, September 22nd at 10 AM against Holy Angels (Away)

Weekend Recap: 9/14 - 9/16

The second weekend of the fall sports season was a wild one with all Varsity Sports teams in action. However, Valley football took center stage as they looked to earn revenge against an Old Tappan team that knocked them out of the state playoffs only a year ago.

Football:

Pascack Valley 43, Old Tappan 16 (Friday)

Ever since last November, Pascack Valley football has marked this game on their calendar. After falling to Devin Fuller and the Golden Knights of Old Tappan in the semifinals of the state tournament, revenge was the only thing on the minds of the Indians.

Not only did Pascack Valley defeat Old Tappan 46-13, but made a statement to the rest of the state that the Indians are here for the long hall.

It didn't take long for Senior Quarterback Kyle Schneider to pick apart the Old Tappan defense. After receiving the opening kickoff, Schneider orchestrated a drive that ended with a 9 yard touchdown pass to Mike Manente, giving the Indians a 6-0 lead.

Old Tappan quickly responded with a 63 yard touchdown from tight end Ben Davis to take a 7-6 lead.

On Valley's next possession, they were faced with a 4th and 1 at their own 28 yard line. Senior punter Mike Manente saw an opening on the right side and took off, sprinting down the field for a 28 yard gain. They later scored on a touchdown pass from Kyle Schneider to Billy Beattie to take a 12-7 lead.

The rest of the half was all Pasack Valley, who scored three more touchdowns, all from Nick Soravilla. By the time halftime had hit, Valley had a demanding 33-7 lead.

By the time the game had ended, Pascack Valley finished off what was a statement win for themselves and the rest of the league. Kyle Schneider finished with 299 yards and 5 touchdowns for an Indians team that has scored 88 points in two games.

With the Indians usually being a run heavy team, having an effective spread offense is going to make them awfully tough to beat.

Record: 2-0

Next Game: Saturday, September 22nd against Bergenfield at 1 PM (Away)

Boys Soccer:

Old Tappan 3, Pascack Valley 2 (Saturday)

After starting the season 2-0, Pascack Valley fell to Old Tappan 3-2 Saturday afternoon at Pascack Valley high school.

It was a back and forth game with both teams competing at a high level.

In the end, the Indian defense couldn't do enough to keep Old Tappan from scoring the winning goal. As history shows, Pascack Valley usually loses a game like this early in the season and always manages to respond. Lets hope this year's team can do the same.

Record: 2-1

Next Game: Wednesday, September 19th against Bergenfield at 4:15 PM (Away)

Girls Soccer:

Old Tappan 2, Pascack Valley 0 (Saturday)so

Pascack Valley suffered their second straight loss against Old Tappan on Saturday by a score of 2-0.

This was a tough game for the Indians, whose offense just couldn't seem to get going. On the defense side, Senior goalie Allison Waldman made 8 saves and Sophomore Kim Pane made 4 in the loss.

If the Indians want to be successful this season, their offense has to become more efficient. As the saying goes, "if you can't score, you can't win."

Record: 1-2

Next Game: Thursday, September 20th at 4:15 PM against Bergenfield (Home)

Girls Volleyball:

After starting the season 3-0, Pascack Valley was defeated for the first time this season against Old Tappan 25-20, 25-20.

The match was a struggle for the Indians, who never seemed to get into their rhythm as they have in their previous three contests.

Old Tappan is a worthy opponent and the Indians now know what they have to do to reach an even higher level of play. If they are willing to put in the hard work for the rest of the season, Pascack Valley Volleyball will be just fine.

Record: 3-1

Next Game: Wednesday, September 19th against Bergenfield at 4:15 PM (Home)

Girls Tennis:

Although the first and second doubles for Pascack Valley won, they ended up losing a close match as a team 3-2.

Next Match: Wednesday, September 19th against Bergenfield at 4:15 PM (Home)

Daily Recap: Thursday, September 13th

Thursday was a quiet one at the Valley with only one varsity sports team in action. The Boys Soccer team was looking to go 2-0 against Tenafly and defend their number four ranking in the county.

Boys Soccer:

Pascack Valley 1, Tenafly 0

After a dominating home opener against Teaneck to start the season, the Pascack Valley Boys Soccer teams faced a tougher test in Tenafly on Thursday Night.

Either way, the Indians passed with flying colors, defeating Tenafly to improve their record to 2-0.

Late in the first half, with the game still scoreless, Senior Gavin Keenan was able to rip one past the Tenafly goalie, giving the Indians a 1-0 lead.

As the second half wore on, the physicality and intensity picked up on both sides. Tenafly was trying desperately to tie the game but Valley just wouldn't let that happen. Blake Ruzich was solid again, making a number of saves and pitching his 2nd shutout in as many starts.

With a solid defense and a goalie like Ruzich, there isn't any reason why the Indians can't continue their winning ways.

Record: 2-0

Next Game: Saturday, September 15th at 11:15 AM against Old Tappan at Pascack Valley High School.

Daily Recap: Wednesday, September 12th

When it came to sports, Wednesday was all about the females. Girls Volleyball, Tennis, and Soccer were all in action with the soccer team playing their home opener under the lights. Lets see how the girls performed.

Girls Soccer:

Tenafly 1, Pascack Valley 0

After an easy game against Teaneck to start the season, Pascack Valley faced a serious test in a game against Tenafly.

This was the home opener for the Indians and they were hoping to make their loyal fans proud.

Unfortunately, Pascack Valley couldn't pull this one out, losing a tough game 1-0. During the first 20 minutes of the contest, the Indians dominated possession, having multiple opportunities to strike first. With about 15 minutes left in the half, Tenafly was able to clear the ball and earn a 1-1 situation down the field. The girl from Tenafly made one move and was able to put one into the back of the net, forcing the home team into a surprising hole.

During the second half, Valley continued to receive shots on goal, but could not score the equalizer to salvage their home opener. With high expectations coming into the season, the girls have to be disappointed  with the result of only their second game of the season.

Lucky for them, this is an experienced squad who will learn from their mistakes and make the most out of the rest of the season.

Record: 1-1

Next Game: Saturday, September 15th at 2 PM against Old Tappan (Away)

Girls Volleyball

After a devastating injury to Senior standout Kimberly Yoo, Pascack Valley was able to increase their record to 3-0 by defeating Tenafly in straight sets.

Yoo, who is regarded as one of the best and most experienced players on the team, might be out for the entire season. That being said, the Indians couldn't pout and had to move on with what they had.

As long as underclassman such as Olivia Beattie and Jenny Schneider step up, this team is going to be just fine going forward.

Record: 3-0

Next Game: Friday, September 14th at 5:30 PM against Old Tappan (Away)

Girls Tennis:

The girls had a tough day on Wednesday afternoon, losing most of the varsity matches they played.

The girls can only learn from this experience and hope to improve each and every day from this point forward.

Next Match: Friday, September 14th at 4:15 PM against Old Tappan (Away)

Daily Recap: Tuesday, September 11th

Of all the varsity sports, three teams had games today, with those being: Boys Soccer, Girls Cross Country, and Boys Cross Country. Lets see how each of them fared.

Boys Soccer:

Pascack Valley 4, Teaneck 0

After Saturday's game was cancelled due to thunderstorms, Boy's Soccer got to play their first game under the lights and at their own field. The number 4th ranked team in the county had no trouble disposing of Teaneck, beating them 4-0.

Kieran Walsh led the Indians with two goals while Chris Jackson and Brandon Valerio added one goal each.

Senior goalie Blake Ruzich was also solid in net, allowing limited shots on goals en route to his first shutout of the season.

With expectations high for this team, a lot of winning will be expected in the futre.

Record: 1-0

Next Game: Thursday, September 13th at 7 PM against Tenafly (Away

Girls Cross Country:

After a close loss in their first meet, the girls bounced back and defeated Teaneck rather easily.

Bessie Zavidow came in first, Madison Weis took second, Alice Urbiel placed third, Caroline Morrow was fourth, and Amanda Digiona came in 5th. In other words, the meet was, and should have been, dominated by the Indians.

Next Meet: The Season Opener Invitational (Friday, September 14th at 4 PM at Darlington County Park)

Boys Cross Country:

The boys continued their hot start to the season by narrowly defeating Teaneck in their second meet of the season.

Once again, Ben Malone took first place for the Indians. However, he wasn't the only individual to gain points for his team. Nerlon Herberger came in 5th, James Almeida earned 6th, and Brian McKenna was 7th.

Next Meet: The Season Opener Invitational (Friday, September 14th at 4 PM at Darlington County Park)

Girls Soccer

Pascack Valley 7, Teaneck 0

The number 7 team in the county cruised in their season opener after their previous game was cancelled due to rain. The Indians scored early and often, setting the tone to what turned out to be a dominating performances.

Six Indians accounted for the 7 goals. Michelle Orden had 2, Katie Roberts had 1, Sammy Rush had 1, Katie Gallagher had 1, Amelia Della Pesca had 1, and Lydia Christiano had one.

The defense was also solid in the win, allowing almost zero shots on goal and turning in a shutout to open the season.

Pascack Valley defeats Teaneck 25-15, 25-15

Pascack Valley Sports: Weekend Recap

Friday marked the first day of Fall sports in the Valley and our teams sure did not let us down. If one game was any indication of what is to come, volleyball and football are going to have very successful seasons.

Football:

Pascack Valley 42, Clifton 0 (Friday)

Big things are expected from the Pascack Valley football team this season and Friday was the first step. After an offseason of scrutiny from Coach Craig Nielsen, the Indians responded and showed everyone why they are the 5th best team in the county by defeating Clifton easily 42-0.

On only the second play of the game, Quarterback Kyle Schneider hooked up with Kevin Illian for a 73 yard touchdown to make it 7-0 only a minute into the game.

Kyle Zenk added two more touchdowns to make it 21-0, still with 2 minutes left in the first quarter. The rain and lightning then began to fall, delaying the game for about 45 minutes. Valley was still able to come out sharp and dominated the second quarter, leaving the score at halftime 28-0.

By the time the game had ended, Pascack Valley was a 42-0 victor and a team with plenty of confidence.

Looking For Helpers With Fall Sports

Fall sports are less than a week away and I want to make sure everyone is kept updated on how all of our sports teams are doing. It would help if one person from each sport can just text me after the game with the score and who performed well. I have football covered so I need a person for each of the following sports.

Boys Soccer
Girls Soccer
Volleyball
Girls Tennis
Cross Country
