Baseball:
Pascack Valley 5, Indian Hills 4
It was only on Monday afternoon where Pascack Valley
suffered a heartbreaking 6-3 loss at the hands of Indian Hills.
Due to weird scheduling, the Indians had another shot at
this team only a few days later. This time, they made sure to preserve their
lead and came away with a 5-4 win.
Indian Hills held onto a 1-0 lead until the top of the 4th
inning. Michael “Waffles” Sowinski knocked in his cousin Kevin Dehn to tie the
game at 1.
Ryan McNaughton had a pair of RBIs on a triple and “Waffles”
knocked him in with a hit of his own. Tyler Gronek went 5 2/3 innings and John
James Ruehl finished it off for the Indians.
Revenge is sweet and Pascack Valley experienced that first
hand today.
Record: 4-6
Next Game: Friday,
April 19th at 4:15 PM against Ramapo (Away)
