Girls Lacrosse:
Glen Rock 14, Pascack Valley 9
In their season opener, Pascack Valley played a game that
was both entertaining and high scoring. Despite the loss, the Indians should be
proud of their offensive output in the first game of the season.
The game was not always high scoring. In fact, at halftime,
Glen Rock led by a score of 4-3.
The second half is where the scoring picked up. Glen Rock
scored 10 goals while Pascack Valley got 6 past the Glen Rock goalies.
Lydia Christiano and Katie Keogh led the Indians in scoring
with three goals each. Chelsea Brennan scored 2 goals and Jamie Saslaw added
one but also had two assists.
With the season just beginning, the Girls will certainly
build off this solid opening performance.
