Baseball:
Pascack Valley 16, Tenafly 1 (Friday)
The score says it all.
Pascack Valley dominated Tenafly from the opening pitch and
never looked back.
This was a great win for an Indians squad still looking to
find their identity.
Ramsey 11, Pascack Valley 4 (Saturday)
After a couple of great wins, Pascack Valley had the luxury
of playing a talented Ramsey squad.
When Ricky Tiburcio started off the game with a home run, it
looked as though Pascack Valley would cruise to their third straight win.
However, Ramsey had different plans. They ended up teeing
off on Pascack Valley pitchers and ended up scoring 11 runs by the end of the
game.
Despite having back-to-back games of scoring a multitude of
runs, the Indians were able to keep up with the Ramsey offense.
If the bats continue to come along, look out for this team
as the season progresses.

Softball:
Pascack Valley 14, Tenafly 2 (Friday)
After a season opening loss to Demarest, Pascack Valley is a
winner of three straight.
Sophomore Jenny Schneider was the story once again. She was
the starting pitcher for the Indians and also contributed greatly on the
offensive end by hitting a grand slam.
Pascack Valley has still not cracked the Top 25 softball
ranking courtesy of The Record and
that is a shame. Look for this team to continue to prove doubters wrong
throughout the season.

Girls Lacrosse:
Pequannock 16, Pascack Valley 8 (Saturday)
After getting into an early hole, Pascack Valley wasn’t able
to recover against Pequannock on Saturday morning and fell by the score of
16-8.
The opposing team was very aggressive, which was something
that the Indians simply were not used to. This game will be a good game to
build off of because they’ll realize they can play with the same aggressiveness
and intensity going forward.
Carrie Schroeder and Jamie Saslaw each had two goals and one
assist. Mia Stem also had a goal and an assist. Chelsea Brennan, Ana Beyer, and
Lydia Christiano each added one goal for the Indians.

Boys Lacrosse:
Northern Highlands 8, Pascack Valley 5 (Saturday)
This was supposed to be Pascack Valley’s breakout game.
This was supposed to be the game that put Pascack Valley
lacrosse on the map for good.
Unfortunately, that did not turn out to be the case, as the
Indians could not match the offensive firepower of Northern Highlands.
Pascack Valley dug themselves into a hole right from the
start. Northern Highlands scored the first four goals and controlled the
possession for much of the first quarter. Senior Kevin Illian scored for the
Indians right at the end of the quarter, giving Valley some momentum going
forward.
The second quarter was a low scoring one. Neither team was
able to get quality shots at net. At intermission, Northern Highlands held the
6-2 lead but Pascack Valley was still within striking distance.
Mike Buldo got the Indians even closer early in the third
with a rocket from the top of the circle. All of the sudden, the lead was 6-3
and the Indians had the confidence that had been searching for.
With that being said, they were not able to push through and
get any closer than that. Highlands scored the next 2 goals en route to a hard
fought 8-5 victory.
Despite the disappointment that comes with any loss, Pascack
Valley once again realized that they can play with top tier competition.
The only thing left to do is beat one of these teams.
